Narabahasa kembali melaksanakan program Tanya Jawab Kebahasaan (Tabah) episode ke-177 pada Kamis, 17 Juli 2025, pukul 19.00–20.00 WIB. Episode kali ini disiarkan secara langsung melalui akun TikTok resmi @narabahasa bersama Ivan Lanin sebagai narasumber utama. Diskusi dimoderatori oleh Nida sebagai pemagang Divisi Humas.
Episode Tabah ini mendapat respons antusias dari Kerabat Nara yang aktif mengajukan pertanyaan melalui kolom komentar. Ragam pertanyaan yang masuk meliputi topik-topik kebahasaan, seperti ejaan, padanan kata, struktur kalimat, dan pembahasan mengenai kata dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI).
Salah satu topik yang menarik perhatian adalah pembahasan kata palum, yang kini tercatat sebagai lawan kata haus dalam KBBI. Ivan Lanin menjelaskan bahwa penetapan kata dalam KBBI merupakan wewenang Badan Bahasa. Ia juga menambahkan bahwa kemungkinan munculnya sinonim baru untuk suatu istilah, seperti palum, sangat terbuka pada masa mendatang.
Pertanyaan lain yang menarik adalah tentang perbedaan penggunaan imbuhan me-kan dan me-i. Ivan menjelaskan bahwa secara umum, me-kan digunakan untuk objek selain manusia, sedangkan me-i untuk objek manusia. Namun, dalam praktik penulisannya, konteks tetap perlu diperhatikan.
Pembahasan mengenai struktur kalimat, seperti penggunaan kata untuk, juga dijelaskan. Ivan menegaskan bahwa penggunaan untuk bersifat fleksibel dan tidak wajib seperti pola to + verb dalam bahasa Inggris.
Selain itu, pertanyaan tentang penyerapan bahasa Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia juga dibahas, misalnya sholawat yang diserap menjadi selawat. Ivan menjelaskan bahwa bentuk baku ditentukan oleh pengaruh pihak penyerap pada masa lalu.
Dengan perbincangan yang interaktif, Narabahasa berharap Tabah episode ke-177 menjadi ruang tanya jawab yang membuka wawasan kebahasaan dengan cara yang santai, informatif, dan menyenangkan.
